BioNutritional Research Group (BNRG) is a California-based protein nutrition company. It strives to provide its customers with protein products that are both nutritious and delicious. These products are made using the latest protein delivery system technology and based on the scientifically proven nutritional requirements and digestive mechanisms of the body.

BNRG traces its roots from the efforts of its founder Kevin Lawrence to find a cure for his sick son 20 years ago. Kevin, a former body builder, discovered a formula containing high-DH hydrolyzed whey protein which treated his son's infantile colitis. In 1991, he formed BNRG to further develop this formula and incorporate it into a new line of protein products that could also be commercialized as bodybuilding supplements.

Five years after, the company introduced Proto Whey Protein, a dietary protein powder made of 100% High-DH hydrolyzed whey for athletes and enthusiasts. Its success encouraged BNRG to develop another product - a protein energy bar called Power Crunch. Power Crunch is a wafer cookie in chocolate and peanut flavours which quickly gained attention. It is now being sold in health clubs, grocery, drug, and convenience stores in the U.S and 13 other countries.
