Not bad at all! That was our initial impression of the BSC Hydroxyburn Lo Cab protein bar. And first impressions always count. We tried the Banana Choc flavour. With a thin coating of chocolate and a soft, banana coloured, pleasantly moist filling, it hit the spot for satisfying those afternoon hunger pangs before gym.

We tried the Choc Orange flavour of the Vital Strength Carb Clear protein bar and it was pretty damn good! Not overly gooey or sticky in the mouth and with some fun, crunchy bits spread at regular intervals throughout. Chocolate on the outside, with a soft centre and just the right size at 55g to take the edge off that afternoon/before-training hunger without making you feel like you’re a cow chewing it’s cud to get through it.
We tried the Vanilla Toffee Fudge Oh Yeah protein bar and it was seriously delicious. Their total weight is 85g and of that there is 27 grams of protein, 30 grams of carbs and 18 grams of fat (Protein Percentage 32%). They’re incredibly tasty - you could go as far as saying “decadent”. So if you’re in Gain Mass mode you are going to be very impressed with the Oh Yeah bar.
Max’s Cut Carbs Bars are a high protein, low carb protein snack. We tried the Choc Fudge flavour and it was certainly tasty, with a biscuit-like interior coated in chocolate.
