IDS Multi-Pro Whey Isolate is a protein powder made up of Whey Protein Isolate (WPI), Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC), Whey Permeate (a slower digesting Whey Protein similar to WPC but is slightly higher in lactose and with a lower protein concentration) and Micellar Casein (slower release protein made from cow’s milk).  

It contains added vitamins and minerals and is low in fat and carbohydrate. There is a growing belief that including fibre in a protein powder assists the body with the absorption process and IDS Multi-Pro Whey Isolate protein powder includes 1g of dietary fibre per serving.

The inclusion of Hydrolyzed Wheat Gluten needs to be noted as the hydrolysis process can create new allergens which are not normally present in wheat for those who are Gluten sensitive.

The company that manufactures this protein powder, IDS has recently undertaken a name change and there is surprisingly little information available about it.
